고대하던 X7의 모습이 공개되었습니다. 이름에서 알 수 있듯이 X시리즈의 맏형입니다. 길이 5,13mm, 너비 1,999mm, 높이 1,805mm, 휠베이스 3,103mm의 거구죠. X5보다 228mm나 길고 53mm 높습니다. 단 폭은 5mm 좁네요. 너비는 뭐 그냥 같다고 볼 수준이죠.
컨셉을 통해서 전했던 대형 그릴과 어댑티브 LED 헤드램프이 그대로 녹아들었고 휠은 21인치입니다. 테일램프는 최근에 등장한 3시리즈와 비슷한 형태네요.
실내는 컬러 뺴곤 형제들과 비슷합니다. 운전석쪽으로 센터를 틀었고 대시보드는 최대한 낮추려고 노력한 흔적입니다. 계기판과 센터모니터 모두 12.3인치 사이즈네요. 2열 독립 시트도 가능한 모양입니다.
미국형의 경우 4존 독립 공조 시스템과 10스피커 오디오 시스템, 파노라마 글라스 루프가 기본인 듯 합니다. 더불어 무선 충전 시스템과 와이파이 핫스팟 기능도 제공하네요.
조금 더 귀를 호강시키려면 20스피커로 구성된 바워&윌킨스 오디오 시스템과 뒷좌석 모니터를 포함한 패키지를 선택하면 됩니다.
트렁크는 3열만 뉘면 1,376리터가 기본이고 2열과 3열을 접으면 2,559리터까지 사용할 수 있다고 합니다. 패밀리카로 넘사벽일 듯합니다.
40i엔 335마력짜리 6기통 터보가 오르고 50i의 심장은 v8 4.4리터 트윈 터보 462마력입니다. 고성능 디젤인 M50 모델도 나오는데 여기엔 400마력짜리 엔진을 사용하네요. 이 모델의 제로백은 5.4초 수준입니다.
X7의 판매는 내년부터 이뤄지고 국내에도 비슷한 시기에 팔릴 듯 보이는데 상황이 상황인지라 좀 늦어질 수도 있답니다.
A new dimension in luxury: The first BMW X7 combines the presence, exclusivity and spaciousness of a luxury car with the versatile, agile driving properties of a Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV). Production will take place at BMW Plant Spartanburg (USA). Market launch will be March 2019.
The largest BMW X model is 5,151 millimetres in length, 2,000 millimetres wide and 1,805 millimetres tall, and has a wheelbase of 3,105 millimetres. Its clear and precise design language spans a punchy, extremely prominent front end, large windows, high ground clearance, a long roofline and a two-section split tailgate. Exclusive detailing includes extensive chrome elements. LED headlights are standard, BMW Laserlight optional.
