싱어 비클 디자인(Singer Vehicle Design)이라고 미국에서 아주 유명해진 포르쉐 리스토어 업체가 있죠. 말 그대로 설립자가 싱어송라이터이기도 합니다. 이들의 주종목은 공랭식 포르쉐를 자신들 입맛에 맞춰 손질하는 것인데 그 솜씨가 예술의 경지에 도달했습니다.
이번 모델은 DLS(Dynamics and Lightweighting Study) 리스토어 컨셉으로 3년에 걸쳐 완성한 작품들 중 하나입니다. 1989년형 964(911) 모델을 베이스로 삼았지만 엔진 출력은 500마력에 이르며 거의 모든 부분을 새로 만들었다고 해도 과언이 아니죠.
딱 봐도 포르쉐 이상의 포르쉐 느낌을 줍니다. 값도 거의 20배 정도 차이나니까 뭐 이건 차가 아니라 그냥 예술품입니다.
